On Wednesday morning, official announced a new music festival coming to the grounds at Keeneland (horse racing track) in Lexington, Kentucky. The festival will be called Railbird and will take place over the weekend of August 10-11, 2019.
Railbird will be produced by AC Entertainment – the company is also involved n the production of Bonnaroo, Forecastle, High Water, Moon River and Big Ears. That’s exciting because these are great festivals of various sizes and themes.
Although a lineup was not announced, indications are that the plan is for a mix of rock, folk, bluegrass and various other genres.
The lineup and ticket prices will likely be released on March 25, 2019.
