LINEUP ALERT! Yes, we’re late to the game, but we’ve just recovered from the shock that the Hangout 2020 lineup put us in. Before we get into the details, let’s just bask in how absolutely stacked this is.

Close your mouths. I know it’s hard but let’s try to keep this professional. Hangout succeeded in shutting up a lot of festival critics with this lineup. It dropped the same day as Electric Forest, and for the first time I received more texts about Hangout than I did about EF. (This is not a shot at EF, your passes still sold out in half an hour, we know you’re dope). But even just looking across the headliners you have a huge mix of genres here, especially now that Red Hot Chili Peppers former guitarist, John Frusciante, has announced his epic return to the group.
Let’s not overlook the undercard here either. DID YOU GUYS SEE T-PAIN’S NAME?! I saw him by accident one time while I was walking to another set and ended up stopping and having a blast; I’m very much looking forward to intentionally showing up to his set this time. Not to mention we have Yungblud, RKS, Illenium, The Head and The Heart, and so many more names on there that are must-sees. Hopefully science perfects the cloning process by May 15th because I’m going to need to be at five stages at once.
Unfortunately, we can’t talk about Hangout without mentioning the tragic passing of Juice WRLD just a few weeks ago. At only 21 years old, he passed away much too soon after a seizure in a Chicago airport. Hangout hasn’t released an official statement on plans regarding his set, but we hope to see a tribute to the emerging rapper while we’re there.
If you’re on the fence about buying a Hangout pass, you might want to decide quick. Tickets in Tiers 1-3 of GA have already sold out and I don’t see sales slowing down any time soon. Head right here to buy your Hangout pass today. And if you want to know more about what to expect from the festival, check out our 2019 recap.
Let us know who you’re looking forward to most and hopefully we’ll see you at the Gulf Shores this May!
