There is a ton of awesome lineup news dropping today. Next up on the list is the 2020 lineup from New York festival staple, Gov Ball, that dropped earlier today. This year, the festival will take place June 5-7 on Randall’s Island in New York City. And don’t forget, tickets will be available starting tomorrow at noon east.
This lineup is absolutely packed and we are going to need some time to digest it for sure! Super stoked to see a female headliner in Missy Elliott atop this one and strong female presence on the lineup overall. Stevie Nicks, Solange, Miley Cyrus, Carly Rae Jepsen and so many more awesome ladies on this lineup. This thing is deep and every time I look back I feel like I notice something else. We would definitely love to hear who you can’t wait to see and who we shouldn’t sleep on.
Governors Ball is now in its 10th year and runs a tight ship. We expect this year to be no different. One thing that the festival has changed for the 2020 edition is the age policy. Festival goers who are younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is 21 or older. Each 21+ adult can only bring up to two other ticket holders that are age 17 or younger, but they and every fest goer over 18 will be required to show a valid photo ID for entry into the festival.
