As us Eastcoasters begin feeling the first tastes (or stings) of winter weather, it is a great time to start thinking about heading south and not letting your festival season end quite yet. On December 10th and 11th, 2021, Miami Beach will host the North Beach Music Festival (NBMF). The fest is set to take place across two stages at the historic open-air art deco amphitheater at the North Beach Bandshell and at Bandshell Park. Did we mention that the park is located just steps from the Atlantic Ocean and that its nearly 80 degrees in Miami Beach today . . . just saying.
NBMF’s goal is to provide fans with a boutique festival experience, showcasing awesome jam, funk and rock bands in an intimate setting. And from the looks of it, that goal will be easily met.
Now, onto the most important part besides the gorgeous weather – the lineup. In August, NBMF’s organizer GMP Live released a lineup jam packed with exploratory improvisation, deep funk, and tons of music to dance to.
This year’s lineup includes tons of our favorites, including Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Spafford, and Tauk. Just to name a few.
The boutique festival experience will also feature an assortment of local food options (I can’t stop thinking about delicious Miami cuisine in the sun).
