August is shaping up to be a great month for music festivals! One such festival is AVLFest, spanning the city of Asheville, NC. With 20 stages and over 200 performances, this fest will prove to be one of the biggest and best of the summer.
Hosted by Wicked Weed Brewing & Worthwhile Sounds, we will see artists such as Indigo De Souza, Cedric Burnside, Willi Carlisle, and The Billy Sea for the festival’s inaugural year. The fest will take place from August 3rd through the 6th.
Not only will there be great performers to see, there will also be wrsitbands granting passholders entry to all AVLFest participating venues, as well as local retailers and restuarants, plus presale access and discount codes to 2 separately ticketed AVLFest events – the band Watchhouse, performing at The Outpost on August 3rd, and Kurt Vile & the Violaters, performing at Highland Brewing on August 4th. The festival has also paired with local community causes and nonprofits including RiverLink, Black Wall Street, Homeward Bound, and Campaign for Southern Equality. A portion of the festival proceeds will go directly to these nonprofit organizations.
