End of The Rainbow Festival

Back in June, Sasquatch Festival’s founder Adam Zacks announced that he was not only stepping down, but also that the Festival would not be returning (at least not for the foreseeable future). Fans of the 17 year old Festival were deeply disappointed. This is basically the last real tweet about Sasquatch we have, from before the news hit.

But a few weeks ago, we got a surprise. Live Nation announced plans to fill the Sasquatch void, by hosting a new festival at the Gorge on Memorial Day Weekend. We were left waiting and wondering until yesterday . . . When various twitter sources started sharing this, including Bassnectar’s official account.

So the mysterious Sasquatch replacement now has a name – End of the Rainbow – and the promise of more details coming sound. Given that Bassnectar tweeted it, seems safe to assume that’s one act we can expect to see on the lineup. Beyond that, we can only speculate – which face it, is probably the most fun. Festival news watchers have speculated based on the art released so far and Bassnectar’s involvement that this is likely to be an EDM leaning fest. But, we will just have to wait and see.

Let us know what you think and stay tuned for more information as we have it.
