As many of you may know, Firefly Music Festival is where the fun and friendship all began for the LTFL team. With the full change in ownership, it has been interesting to see all the new developments and changes. Over the last few weeks, Firefly has hit us with a series of big news.
A few weeks ago, Firefly announced an onsite Festival Pre-Parties with performances taking place at both camping hubs. I had the opportunity to see Saint Motel at Firefly a few years ago, catching both their main performance and their acoustic coffeehouse set. They are a fantastic and they are only one of the amazing acts scheduled to perform at the Pre-Parties
Firefly also recently announced the return of the Big Break contest – a really cool opportunity for unsigned artists to enter for a chance to be selected to play a 45 minute set at the Festival.
And then!!! Just in the last day or so, Firefly announced the North Hub Beach Club
So first of all – this poster is super cute!!! But more importantly whoa they are bringing some serious talent to the Hub(s). If you check out the small print – it says that a lineup will also be coming for the South Hub and that there are more artists TBA.
By the looks of it, they have been working really hard to bring a lot of new and different opportunities – both musical and otherwise to Firefly. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store.
