Ohana Music Festival hit us with a stacked set of headliners late last week.
The festival takes place at the Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA. According to their website information, a portion of all proceeds from the festival will be donated back to the San Onofre Parks Foundation. It is a non profit that works with the California State Parks Dept. to preserve California coastal parks. So that seems like a pretty cool way to give back, particularly given the location of the festival in a coastal park.
This festival made its debut as a two-day event in 2016 and has grown up in the seasons since. The full three-day lineup is below:
I had the opportunity to see Eddie Vedder in Arizona and he was amazing – both in his live show and on the set of Off the Mound (a baseball talk show he appeared on as a guest). Notably, Eddie Vedder also headlined Ohana in its first year. I will be interested to dig in a little deeper in this one and check out some of the undercard acts.
The festival is produced by SGE (and likely also Live Nation). Let us know if you have been to Ohana before or if you plan on going this year. We would love to hear from you!
