Mountain Jam 2020 Lineup

Founded in 2005 by Warren Haynes and Radio Woodstock, the festival took place at Hunter Mountain in Hunter, New York through 2018. Last year, the festival moved to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York (the home of the original Woodstock in 1969) and is set to be back in Bethel May 29-31, 2020.

As its name provides, Mountain Jam is very much a jam fest – with a great mix of rock, blues, reggae and more. The festival features a number of accommodation options – including campsites (offsite) for tent and RV camping. The festival has been going strong, bringing a unique lineup year after year. Based on the lineup that dropped Friday, 2020 looks to be no different.

There are awesome acts on this lineup for fans of all kinds of music. We are still digging in and working on a playlist of our own, but in the meantime we suggest checking out Grace Potter, Margo Price, Yola and Midnight North.

The 2020 headliners are also pretty epic. Normally, Brandi Carlile isn’t exactly my speed music wise – but I had heard great things and someone with that many Grammy Awards clearly means business. So . . . when I got the opportunity to check her out last summer at Railbird Festival I decided to hang in and give her a try. She absolutely blew me away. She is both a phenomenal performer and really great with crowd interaction. “The Story” (the title track from the 2007 album with the same now) is now a fixture on my personal playlist and I strongly recommend checking her out if you have the chance – I promise you will not be disappointed.

One of the most interesting things that has happened as a result of going to so many festivals over the last two years, is that my musical palette has really developed and changed. While pop and indie rock are still my favorites, I have quickly developed a real taste for jam bands and Americana (an interesting genre blending elements of rock, country, folk and more). Mountain Jam looks like an awesome time and we hope to get up there this summer. Stay tuned for more info on this festival from us soon!

In the meantime, we would love to connect with Mountain Jam fans and hear what festival advice you may have to share. And as always, we are thrilled to hear your band recommendations. So drop us a comment or an email.

Tickets are on sale now and you can find more official information on the festival here.
