After a brief stint as Spooky Knees in October, Shaky Knees returns to it’s usual end-of-spring slot for 2022. Spooky Knees was my first time at Shaky and I can guarantee I will be back. From the manageable venue size to the passionate fans, Shaky was a festival I will not soon forget. For those that have been looking for an excuse to get to Atlanta, here’s your chance. Check out the Shaky Knees 2022 lineup below!

Shaky Knees Lineup Thoughts
Off the bat, Green Day is a name that interests me but I believe it’s Nine Inch Nails that most Shaky fans are excited about. Aside from the headliners, names like King Gizz and PUP have been constant requests from the Shaky community so it’s great to see them finally booked. The Shaky Knees 2022 lineup feels very on-brand for the festival it’s a beautiful thing.
For attendees looking to add some new artists to their playlists, I’ve got a few recommendations across the three days. On Friday, check out Mannequin Pussy, who was recently featured in the HBO series Mare of Easttown. Mannequin Pussy is a punk band from Philly (go birds) that puts on a hell of a show. On Saturday, HUNNY is a band that I’ve kept in rotation for a few years and they are definitely worth the listen. I saw them at Firefly 2020 and they certainly did not disappoint. Finally, before you depart Central Park, make sure you catch sets by both Briscoe and the Happy Fits. I discovered both in 2020 and was pleasantly surprised to see them on the Shaky Lineup.
Who are you most excited to see from the Shaky Knees 2022 lineup? What fests are you attending this year? Let me know in the comments! See you in Atlanta.
