BeachLife Festival Gives Back to the South Bay

As if we needed another reason to love this 3-day festival that has been taking over Redondo Beach since 2019. Fairly new to the scene, BeachLife hit the ground running. Despite taking the mandatory COVID pause in 2020, BeachLife’s momentum hasn’t slowed – and neither has its’ commitment to giving back. The festival raises money each year for local charities such as Surfrider Foundation, 5 Gyres, Life Rolls On and many more. We’re lucky enough to be invited to their philanthropy wrap-up event at the December 9th LA Kings game. The Kings have partnered with BeachLife from the start, and it’s great to see a mutual commitment between community members to do their part.

If you don’t know about BeachLife…first of all where have you been? Check our out our BeachLife 101 article as well as the 2019 Recap. Basically it’s a “good vibes only” festival where you can not only listen to music from their stacked lineup, but also enjoy surf competitions and pull up to the festival in style in your boat. Yes, I said boat. Their Side Stage Dining Experience is also a must-do. You get to eat meals from top California chefs while enjoying music from the, you guess it, side of the stage.

BeachLife 2021 Lineup

The 2022 Lineup isn’t out yet, but the dates are. So block off your calendar from May 13th – 15th, 2022 for 3 days of classic California fun in the sun. And if you’re as impatient as I am, enjoy their 2021 Recap Video to tide you over until May.
